BEECHDEAN OUT OF BRITISH GT CHAMPIONSHIP
It is with regret that Beechdean Motorsport announce that they are withdrawing from the British GT4 Championship with immediate effect.
The team had high hopes for the 2008 season but the lack of equalisation within the GT4 class has resulted in them having to make this decision. Their objective from the start was to be competitive and in a position to race on equal footing with the GT4 field. This has become unattainable with the current regulations so sadly they have made the decision to step down at this time and are currently evaluating other opportunities.
Andrew Howard and the Beechdean Motorsport team would like to take this opportunity to thank SRO, Avon Tyres and everyone involved and wish them continued success for the future.
